24 Hour Live In Care Service.

  • All of our Live In carers are self employed so are responsible for their own tax, national insurance, and public liability insurance.
  • You will be required to have the necessary skills and experience to appropriately support the client.
  • It would be preferable that you live in the south of the country, but not essential, client will only pay a maximum of £40.00 return travel.
  • You must be able to confirm that you can legally work in the UK.
  • You must hold a C.R.B. enhanced disclosure, Castle Care Wessex will apply for a C.R.B on your behalf, carers are responsible for the payment of this.
  • You must supply proof of I.D. passport, driving licence, and a utility bill
  • You must speak good English.

This is a guide of the duties you may have to supply, depending on the client and their need.

  • Washing, dressing, toileting, and personal care.
  • Light house work, hovering, dusting, washing, Ironing
  • Preparing and cooking of meals
  • Shopping
  • Companionship, accompany the client on outings.
  • Assistance with pet care
  • Assistance with the day to day running of the house, financial transactions, payment of bills.
  • Changing and emptying of catheter bags
  • Assist with medication ( Complete Care must hold a signed medication form)
  • Exercise programs under the instruction of a professional.
